| The screensavers listed at Freesaver.com are made by hundreds of freeware authors using different types of software. Authors don't usually offer technical support for free software, so in case you are unhappy with a screensaver, please remove it and try some of the others. For common download, installation, or removal problems, please consult our Help page.
We frequently get inquiries concerning ADVERTISING appearing on the site. Advertising banners are NOT part of the site content. If you have problems with any of the advertisers or their products, you need to contact them directly. Most questions concern screensavers advertised by Freeze. These screensavers include Living Waterfalls, 3D Marine Aquarium, 3D Dolphins, Lake Screensaver, 3D Butterflies, etc, and do NOT appear in our listings. If you have any problems with Freeze products or downloads, please contact customersupport@teamfreeze.com. Thank you.
Has your start page been changed during a screensaver install? In that case it is likely you have been clicking on Freeze adverts/popups. During their screensaver installation the first page will ask if you want to change your Start page to Freeze.com:

If you do not want to change your Start page, you need to remove the check mark from the box. If you did not notice this and now want to get rid of the Freeze start page, it is very simple:
Click on the 'Tools' menu at the top of Internet Explorer window. Then choose 'Internet Options', and make sure you are on the 'General' tab. Where it says 'Address' you can type the address you want your home page to be. For example if you wanted MSN page to be your start page you would type www.msn.com in the space provided. Then click on 'Apply' and 'OK'.
Do you have a problem with paid membership? In this case also you must have clicked on banners or popups of our sponsor Freeze. If you have any problems with your Freeze membership, please contact customersupport@teamfreeze.com. - Freesaver.com never asks money or memberships.
Are you concerned about possible adware/spyware? All recent screensavers (those listed on the Latest page) are guaranteed without any adware/spyware. Freesaver.com does not approve of any bundled files in listed screensavers and this is clearly said on our submission form . Since all files reside on authors servers (or download servers chosen by authors) we can't unfortunately guarantee that the file content remains the same. If any adware/spyware is found in older files, you are welcome to report them to us and those entries will be removed and the author banned from this site. If you think you have got adware/spyware in your PC and do not know how to remove it, please read our removal advice here.
DISCLAIMER: Anything you download from the Net is always at your own risk. All screensavers have been scanned for viruses, adware and spyware before they go to the list, but as none of these files come from our servers their content might change after we tested them.
